Dear Friend,
We are so excited about the possibility of becoming parents to that wonderful child that we just haven't met yet.
Ever since we have been married, we have looked forward to the day and have
prepared ourselves to become parents. Life has had a different plan for us,
which has been hard, but we know without these challenges, we wouldn’t be the
people we are today and we wouldn’t be searching for a special child to become
part of our family. We know that although we don’t have everything in the
world, we do have everything we need for us to wonderful parents to some
special soul.
After a lot of heartache and struggle, we were incredibly blessed to be able to do In Vitro Fertilization and after a few unsuccessful rounds, we were successful. Although we have been blessed with this pregnancy, we feel very strongly about adoption and know that it is how we will grow our family. We know we will love any child we adopt just like our own; there is no difference in our hearts.
We know that you are facing extremely difficult decisions at
this time and can't imagine how hard they must be. We know that you love your
baby and want the absolute best for them. We want you to know how grateful we
are for considering this possibility. This is the single most selfless
sacrifice that you can perform to provide the best for your baby and also help
us complete our family. We hope you can learn a little more about us to help
you make the decisions you are facing. We have a tremendous amount of respect
and love for birth-parents and think that anyone that chooses to place their
child for adoption shows an incredible amount of strength and
selflessness. We may not have met
yet, but our hearts of full of love for you. We appreciate you and want to help you throughout this
process in any way that we can.
We think that open adoption is a beautiful thing. We are open to exchanging letters,
pictures, and gifts and it is something that we hope is a part of our
lives. However, if the birth
parents are unable to do so or don't have that desire, we will always respect
that decision and do what's best for everyone involved, especially the child.
Family is the most important thing to us and we can’t wait
to be able to share our love for life with someone else. Our family loves to do many things including watching movies, playing sports, cooking, and
traveling. It sounds cheesy, but we
love to do most anything as long as we can do it together. We love to do
anything that will help us create memories, become stronger people, and
appreciate the things we have been blessed with. We are extremely grateful for
what we have and although we have our challenges and struggles, we are positive
and excited for what the future holds.
As parents, we definitely want to be seen as a friend and
someone that our children can be open and honest with. We look forward to being
their examples and making sure that they are truly happy and successful people.
We are so excited to be able to share our love and
everything that we have in creating our family. Thank you so much for taking
the time to get to know us and we wish you nothing but the best in the
decisions you make. We hope to be able to speak with you and meet you soon.
